Our Adventure Learning Cruises have taken us to the Spanish Virgin Islands, the US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and the Windward Islands of St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines. It was time to look for more adventures, so we went to Cuba! What an awesome Adventure Learning experience this was. Certainly more off the beaten path, more rustic, remote, and more…. well, adventurous. The people were very friendly and accommodating, and sailing the Canarreos Archipelago was absolutely amazing. The water was gorgeous – as clear as a swimming pool, and the snorkeling was the best I’ve seen in the Caribbean. Lots of wildlife including iguanas, huge loggerhead turtles, stingrays, lobsters, and an incredible variety of fish. We had students taking ASA104 (Bareboat Cruising), ASA114 (Catamaran Cruising), and ASA106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising on two beautiful 45 foot catamarans. And once again, the consensus was that the Caribbean Adventure Learning course is absolutely amazing!
